Investment Criteria

Longship Partners seeks long-term capital appreciation through investments in high growth potential private companies. The firm's investment emphasis includes enterprises that exhibit the following characteristics:

• High and predictable cash flows
• Definable and defensible market niches
  
• Historical or potential future leverage of information in the value creation process
• Opportunity to create value through the application of improved general management and technology utilization
• Revenues of more than $4 million and cash flows exceeding $1 million per annum
• Media, technology, services or manufacturing businesses
• Ability to put $1 to 10 million in equity to work

Longship Partners anticipates that it will initially invest primarily in opportunities located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and the Southwestern United States. There is, however, no restriction on the geographical area for investment by the firm.

Longship Partners will initially target later stage investments and buyout opportunities. On a selected basis, the firm will consider investment in turnaround situations.
